Actors Adam Brody and Leighton Meester engaged after dating for less than a year
ACTORS Adam Brody and Leighton Meester have confirmed they are engaged.
Former The O.C star Brody and former Gossip Girl star Meester have been dating since earlier this year, People reports.
The pair met on the set of film The Oranges in 2011 and began spending more time together earlier this year, before confirming they were dating. The low-key couple, who have rarely been spotted together, are set to star in upcoming comedy Life Partners, US Weekly reports.
Brody, 33, previously dated his O.C. costar Rachel Bilson, while starring as adorable on-air couple Seth and Summer. Brody and Bilson split in 2006.
Meester dated fellow Gossip Girl actor Sebastian Stan for two years before going their separate ways in 2010.
